Watercourse Survey Work

As part of DCC’s ongoing investigations and efforts to identify cost beneficial solutions to the flood issues experienced in the village, they are planning to undertake an extensive topographical survey of the watercourse as it runs through the village.  This will take place during week commencing 30 September 2024.

The results will be used to allow DCC to build a computer model of the watercourse so they can simulate flows through the catchment and also test potential solutions to reduce the risk.

A letter has been delivered to properties backing on to the watercourse.

Brook Path Flood Improvement Works
